University: Day 6
Today was Black and Gold day at UWaterloo! What does this mean? Well, the colors black and gold are the school colors for UW, and so that means we have a sports game! Today’s game was a rugby game, with the UW rugby team competing against U of Toronto’s rugby team. I have been informed that UW won (naturally), so that’s good (although if someone can disprove that - because I wasn’t actually at the game myself and have to rely on other sources - then please let me know!)
My parents also arrived on campus, providing me with a wake up call at 12 pm, telling me to come down to the parking lot to pickup the stuff that they brought with them from Toronto, in the van. After unpacking the items, we went to East Side Mario’s; this meal is the most I’ve eaten since I’ve been at Waterloo.
Afterwards, I didn’t really do too many activities as I was EXTREMELY tired, and so I mostly stayed home - until Toga night, which is known as “the largest TOGA party in North America”. MuchMusic provided the video screens and music that are used at the dance/Toga night, and it was held outside.
P.S.
Hopefully today I will sleep the earliest out of the past few days, because I really need a good boost of energy before school starts.
