		<description>There's a reason why people who text / mail a lot have Blackberry's, Q's and so forth.   They want the hardware keyboards.

I have predictive text on the very nice full-screen (landscape) keyboard add-on from SPB, on my industrial Windows Mobile devices.   These devices have 3" screens, so they're iPhone-sized.   And it's STILL not fun to type on, since the prediction can be wrong. 

There are other soft keyboard schemes that use a totally different from of entry than QWERTY, but you'd have to learn new ways of typing.

Upshot:  the first iPhone with a sliding hardware keyboard will be a huge hit with the texting crowd.
