I would have been pissed if I had to use AppleCare to replace my iPod's battery, anyways, because their website shows me that my iPod isn't covered under AppleCare, when I clearly remember that I DID purchase AppleCare for it. So, I would have had to find the receipt and fax that directly to Apple Inc. in Cupertino to get my status fixed, and THEN could I begin the process of getting a new battery. No thanks! :)

yep. that happened to my ipod photo. but i did not catch it until the battery died. got a new ipod battery from ipod juice website www.ipodjuice.com and now it rocks again.

I think there is a hack so that you can remove the alarm feature altogether but i am not sure. would be nice if there was a volume control for the alarm - is there?

not sure. good night.
