1 exam down, 2 more to go
The calculus exam that I did today was a good test to see how much information I remembered from the last 5 1/2 months of school. And apparently, the answer to that is: not that much. Anyways, I don’t think we’ll be getting our exams back; the marks are simply immediately reflected into our final marks which are then sent out for the final time to universities, I suppose. I also managed to write a few comic strips while doing my exam, and get some sleep in, as well. The comic strip was about a giant blog who was attacking a random city (probably Tokyo) and eating the citizens (probably Japanese people, because of Godzilla…) It’s very fascinating, indeed.

Procrastinating studying for my exams
I’ve been procrastinating studying for my exams today. I’ve been organizing my clothes - they need to be organized, anyways.

Why I procrastinate
I procrastinate, for things that either don’t have a deadline or one that’s far away, for things that I care little about, or for things that I don’t want to know the consequences to. But I think, primarily, I procrastinate because I try to be perfect. I always want things to be perfect, even though I know they will never be perfect. I also give myself this excuse so I don’t have to go ahead doing whatever I’m supposed to do in the first place. I need something to happen that will change my attitude with procrastination; maybe going to university is the change that will help me?

Registered at the University of Waterloo now
I’ve registered at the University of Waterloo for my preliminary information, such as what co-op stream I’ll be taking (stream 8 was already full, so I took stream 4. But I intended on taking stream 4, anyways.) The registration all took less than 5 minutes; I thought it would’ve taken longer, but now I see that the real course selections will begin on July 17. I can’t wait!

Rails Day 2006
I’ve decided not to go ahead with Rails Day 2006. I’m too tired to last 24 hours straight and still have energy to study for three exams the immediate next week after. There’s also about a 25% chance of winning any prize whatsoever - which is pretty damn good. Oh well, there’s always next year!

Bill Gates is leaving Microsoft completely in 2 years

This is according to a press release from Microsoft. It seems like even he doesn’t get his life fulfilled by Microsoft anymore, and is looking for a better way for self-fulfillment. He’s going to be working at his Gates Foundation full-time after his 2 year transition away from Microsoft.

I’m awake at 4 am
I woke up at 4 am this morning to clear my head a bit… I think I got two hours of sleep (2 am - 4 am.) But, the funny thing is, I feel fine. When I’m moving, anyways, otherwise I’ll fall asleep while not doing anything.

My final violin lesson
Well, I had my final violin lesson just yesterday. My big, final performance comes up in two weeks, though. I have absolutely no idea if I’ll intend on pursuing violin any further, but we’ll just see if I can survive without it, first.
